SGU currently has three RPing environments, or as we refer to them teams. We hope to grow this number as the club continues to increase the number of its' members. Below is a recreation of one of the actual teams, SGU-1. Any member of SGU can be on as many teams as they want, choosing to serve in either command, medical, security, science, or any other makeshift position they are interested in playing. The limit is only the number of characters you want to have! Scroll down and take a look at the MOTD (Message of the Day) of SGU-1. Farther below we will explain how we Role Play!

You know how whenever we go LOA we come back and have to get a sim update. Hopefully this section will make it easier to get rid of the need and just let us jump back into the thick of it all! The Story So Far While on a standard recon mission, an unmanned drone discovered an advanced culture apparently using the Stargate as a form of popular transportation. What little was seen before the drone was destroyed also indicated that this bizarre-looking species may also be using Goa'uld technology. During preliminary investigation of this data, SGU-1's commander, Colonel Franklin, was hit by a car and sent to hospital in critical condition. Command of SGU-1 was given to Major James Fuller, with orders to finish the investigation and possibly find out if Colonel Franklin's accident was an attempt on her life, or just an unhappy coincidence. In addition, he is to take his brand-new team through the Gate, establish first contact with the unknown aliens and find out how they got their hands on Goa'uld technology. |

If anyone starts shooting at us, don't look to me for help. I'm an academic, not a soldier. In regards to diplomatic relations with alien races, negotiations or anything requiring sociological analysis, then I take the lead. We have a well-balanced team of soldiers and scientists, so you should be able to fit in quite well, regardless of your specialization. |

Each RPing Environment contains a roster which lists all the players that are currently on that ship. In addition it gives information about what the characters name is, their rank and position, as well as biographical information. When you become a member, you will see additional information such as the players name, email, and when they last entered the site.
